Playwright, Project Management Author and Trainer
Latif Abubakar is a Playwright, Project Management Author and Trainer. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project management Institute and has an MBA in Project Management. He is also a Certified International Project Manager (CIPM), a Master Project Manager (MPM) and Certified Management Consultant from the American Academy of Project Management, USA. He is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Project Managers (FAAPM) and a member of the Global Advisory Board.
Latif has to his credit two books namely; Facts to Remember, a PMP Exams prep book and Become a Project Manager in 2 days, A PM crash Course. With over 10 years of experience in training and consulting Latif has trained hundreds of corporate executives across many industries and consulted organisations such as the United Nations, Action Aid, AirtelTigo, Office of the President of Ghana, Tiger Eye Pl etc. He recently developed the community policing manual for the Government of Ghana and trained 3000 community policing personnel.
Latif’s interest in promoting investments and entrepreneurship gain him an opportunity in 2010 and 2011 to organize workshops and make presentations on “Youth development and entrepreneurship” at the UN Youth Assembly in New York. He has led his company Globe Productions to establish and execute successfully for 3 years the annual Ghana Business Summit, Exhibition and Awards, the Ghana Pharmaceutical Summit, Exhibition and Awards and the Ghana Shippers Awards.
As a playwright with focus on theatre for development, Latif has written, directed and produced 15 plays that have been performed 67 times across the country to an audience base of 40,000. Latif has led Globe to become the fastest growing theatre company in Ghana with the widest coverage. He gained some international recognition via an interview on BBC world service on the topic “Resurgence of Theatre in Africa” and during his recent play that caught the eyes of the world. The play had the National Chief Imam of Ghana

Kwadwo has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Financial and Strategic Management from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, Cape Town, South Africa. He is also a qualified Accountant, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (F.C.C.A), a Project Management Professional (PMP) and prior to that studied Cost & Management Accounting at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth South Africa.
He has previously worked as a Consultant to some corporate firms where he assisted clients with their company financials as well as corporate restructuring. Some of the other positions he has held in the past are Country Associate of an Advisory firm, Financial Controller, Project Manager: Sub-Saharan Africa, Regional Change Manager and Business Analyst amongst others. His work transcends different industries and include but are not limited to Manufacturing; Oilfield Services; Insurance; Shipping; Container Terminal Operations which are multinational companies based in South Africa.
He has expertise in Systems Implementations, Accounting & Financial Management; Consulting & Business Advisory. With his current role as a Management Consultant, his expertise spans Business & Commercial Due Diligence, Business Modelling & Strategy Review and Investment Advisory and are critical to the quality of work he provides to clients. His other specialties include Operations Research & Decision Analysis, Project Management, and Financial Modelling.
Some of his recent achievements include Sub-Saharan African roles; Successful Systems Implementations in Middle East, Asia & Africa, Solid financial management and Advisory roles in Ghana. In these roles, he travelled across many Countries gaining invaluable experience and improved on his networking skills.
